FMB120

The FMB120 is a dual‑mode, Class 1 Bluetooth® V5.4 module that brings classic Bluetooth (A2DP) and the latest LE Audio into a single, compact design. It includes an on‑board DSP and full Bluetooth stack, so you can stream USB, I2S or analog stereo audio directly to headsets, speakers, earbuds and hearing aids.

Auracast™ transmitter: FMB120 can transmit LE Audio broadcast streams so one source can be heard by many receivers at once—ideal for TVs, signage, classrooms, fitness studios and public spaces. It also supports LE Audio unicast roles (UMS/CG) for private listening and two‑way use cases, while continuing to work with classic Bluetooth receivers for broad compatibility.

The module supports SBC and LC3 for LE Audio, plus advanced classic Bluetooth codecs including aptX®, aptX HD, aptX Adaptive Lossless and aptX Lite for high‑quality music and low‑latency gaming. With castellated pads and an on‑board PCB antenna, it drops neatly into your design and is easy to manufacture.

Control is simple via ASCII commands over UART or USB (enumerates as a virtual COM port on Windows/Mac/Linux). We provide iOS/Android libraries so your app can configure streams, manage pairing, and push firmware updates without dealing with low‑level BLE/BREDR APIs.
